Madera Canyon Arizona

We did the 6 mile hike up to Josephine Saddle.  Views are just as stunning as last year!

The highest peak at Madera in the Santa Rita Mountains...Mt. Wrightson...close to 9500 ft.

At the saddle.  It took about an hour and a half to get to Josephine Saddle.  Had lunch and began the descent.

Using the zoom....This is part of Whipple Observatory.  We could see it from a different angle than usual on this hike.

Look closely at who is enjoying the sun!

Dozens of them!

Cute huh?

A zoom to the tailing pond of Pima Copper Mine from a lofty view.
