Killbear Provincial Park, September 09

Summer at Last!

We visited Killbear Provincial Park (again!) near Parry Sound Ontario for a week in early September. Carolyn and Seamus came too and we thoroughly enjoyed the summery weather especially after cool weather in July and August! We biked, hiked, golfed, kayaked and swam. The water in Georgian Bay was actually warm and we swam every day and sat on the beach soaking in the view and warm sunshine. The 3 hour Island Queen Cruise was well worth it, even second time around. This area of Georgian Bay is a unique biosphere and has been designated as a Unesco Site. I didn’t take pictures on the cruise since I have many from a trip there a few years ago. The pictures shown here are around Killbear Park. Words cannot really describe the scenery in this area. You can see why painters have been inspired!
