Curly Hair! Beaumont Texas

We have gone from 10% humidity to 90% humidity in 2 days!  We have curly hair.  Thank goodness we are south of the devastating storms and tornadoes that are wreaking havoc on this country.  It feels like we should get a storm but the forecast does not look bad for this area.

Tomorrow we are heading for Alabama...hopefully Gulf Shores, where we will spend a few days.  The storms are moving ahead of us but if tomorrow looks dicey at all we will stay here one more night.

We are in Beaumont Texas at a private campground called Gulf Coast RV Resort.  It is nice and clean with a complimentary continental breakfast in the morning!  It is packed too...after we arrived mid-afternoon it filled up rapidly.  I can see why; it is not far off the interstate and is well kept and reasonably priced.  We often stay in KOA's along the road when stopping for only one night but if one is not in range we use other resources to find campgrounds.  A rating system helps us to find good ones.

Today felt longer than the mileage indicated because we by-passed San Antonio and Houston.  Houston goes on for miles and we took the toll road beltway to avoid down town.  Even the beltway was busy and hectic for an RV especially.

We are now in a whole different landscape...green fields are plentiful and spring is springing!  Buds everywhere!  Finally we will get out of Texas!
